Summer Reading Program
Students in preschool through high school have the opportunity to participate in an organized reading program each June and July. Each year features a different theme.

Preschool Family Story Hour
A story hour for families of preschoolers is held each August. Stories, crafts and activities are held for children ages 3, 4, and 5. Siblings of other ages are welcome to attend with the preschooler and their parent or care giver.

Beginning Computer Class
Adults looking to become familiar with basic computer use can attend these free classes. Each class is a series of four or five sessions covering mouse use, using programs, word processing, Internet searching and e-mail. Classes are held in the fall and additional classes are scheduled as needed.

Author Programs
Local and nationally known authors come and speak on various subjects and sign their books. Poets, historians and fiction writers have all come to share their love of writing with members of the community.
